Privacy
The information submitted here will only be used to respond to this enquiry
and any subsequent related correspondence.

The only information we hold on customers is collected through the ordering/registration
process or through email enquiries and is collected lawfully under the terms of
the Data Protection Act 1998.
If you do not wish to receive marketing materials, having once subscibed to the
newletter service, please cancel using the unsubscrbe feature here,
or by email to strutt@clara.net
Buyers will be sent written confirmation of any purchases made through this
web site by e-mail. Please allow at least 14 days for delivery. This includes
a statutory seven day cooling off period.
Acceptance
The use of this site is governed by the policies, terms and conditions set
out below. Using this site, or placing an order, indicates your acceptance of
these terms and conditions. Penman Clockcare reserves the right to make changes
to this site and these terms and conditions at any time. This does not affect
your statutory rights as a consumer.
All information or materials appearing on this site, including the logos,
text, site design and arrangement, graphics, icons, and images, are the property
of Penman Clockcare. No materials from this site may be copied or reproduced
in any form or by any means without Penman Clockcare's prior written permission.
Any unauthorized use of the materials appearing on this site may violate copyright
or other applicable laws and could result in prosecution.
All trademarks are recognized as the property of their respective owners, whoever
they may be.
Postage
Orders are shipped using Royal Mail Recorded Delivery. Customers may opt for
guaranteed next day Special Delivery. There is an additional £5 charge
for this service. For International Deliveries we use the 'International Signed
for' service for which there is normally a £10 charge.
We cannot accept liability for items once shipped unless the guaranteed and insured
Royal Mail Special Delivery service is selected. This service is available to
UK customers only.
Delivery
An email confirmation of your order will be sent to you. You should receive
your order within 5-7 working days, although for a specially ordered item such
as a sized ring, delivery can take up to 28 days.
Refunds
Items can be returned within 14 days of purchase for a refund. Items must
be returned in mint condition with full packaging. Recorded or Special Delivery
post should be used. Items that are specially ordered to size, such as rings,
cannot be returned. Unfortunately, for health and safety reasons we cannot give
refunds on earrings. This policy does not affect your statutory rights.
In the case of antique clocks, we would require you to use a professional
packing and courier service and the liabilty for damage in return transit would
be yours.

Security
Our online shopping facility uses the secure Romancart shopping cart payment
system which offers the highest levels of encryption and security to ensure your
transactions with us are private and protected as they travel over the Internet.
We accept orders only from Web browsers that permit communication through Secure
Socket Layer (SSL) technology - this means you cannot inadvertently place an
order through an unsecured connection. Most web browsers above version 3 support
this security. This encryption makes it virtually impossible for unauthorised
parties to read any information that you send us. Your personal information and
credit card details are safe and secure and will only be used for the ordering
process. We do not store this information.
We reserve the right not to supply items if order details are suspicious or
fraudulent.
Complaints Policy
In the unlikely event of a complaint, we would aim to settle matters quickly
and fairly. If any complaint cannot be immediately resolved, we undertake to
keep you regularly informed as to progress by email or telephone.
Cancellation
As part of the Distance Selling Regulations 2000, as well as a cooling off
period, you may cancel an unwanted order by informing us of this in writing any
time up to seven days from the day after the day of delivery. We ask only that
you pay the return insured postage otherwise a deduction will be made from the
refund to cover the cost of collection.
In the case of antique clocks, we would require you to use a professional packing
and courier service and the liabilty for damage in return transit would be yours.
Please note : As rings are specially ordered to a customer's individual size,
these cannot be taken back. We ask you, therefore, to be particularly careful
when giving your ring size.
This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
If you cancel your order you will be refunded within 30 days of cancellation.
Orders may be cancelled by email, telephone or fax.

We always try to give satisfaction. In the event of any complaint, we will endeavour
to respond within three working days.
